Guitar - Fret King 'JD' into Sansamp pedal
Bass - Yamaha RBX into old Yamaha mixer with channel compression accidentally turned way up
Drums - Roland Electronic TD-3 Kit
Vocal mic - Groove Tubes GT57 into RME Fireface UFX.
DAW - Cakewalk

Performance is all a bit messy. Backing guitar was recorded to a click then vocals added, both first take. There are problems with both but I decided not to muck about with them so it might at least get finished. Bass was then added, I had to have three passes at that, I'm not a bassist, as is obvious. Then the guitar solo which is comp'd from three takes.

Drums were recorded last by my mate Dave, a very old friend and drummer in our function band in the 90s (the Stereotypes), using a Roland electronic kit. Both the stereo line out and midi were recorded using Studio One at his place. I planned to use the midi through a drum sampler but in the end I decided to go with the Roland audio which stopped me obsessing about cymbal hit velocities, panning, hi-hat timing etc etc.

Mixed in Cakewalk using the stock plugins apart from the 'ThirtyOne' EQ and MultiComp Plus from Hornet.
